I’m planning on going into the studio to cut a brand new, ‘James Burton & Friends’ album.
I’m really excited to get working on this.
I’d like to know what songs you would like to hear me re-record new versions of?
What are your favorites?
Elvis? Ricky? John Denver? Anything I’ve played on over the years…
The songs with the most feedback are going to earn a spot on the new record.

James, I love Ricky, but love Elvis, too. Don’t make me choose. Any of the music will be fun to have. I have original Ricky photos that I have never shared. Ricky was always good to try to give us a chance to take a picture and the last ones are from the Richard B. I love the Elvis catalog but I just listened, for the umteenth time, to you on Cass Elliott’s “It’s Getting Better”. WOW! Lyrics are entrenched in the groovy 60’s, and she was great, but that guitar—WOW. Thank you.
