“The James Burton Foundation” promotes music in the lives of children all over the world.“

This year we are raising money for the “James Burton Guitar & Car Museum”. All net profit from the Festival will go to build the museum that will give children a free venue to showcase their music on stage for rehearsals and performances when the museum is completed. It will also be a meeting place for Elvis fans when they are in Shreveport, Louisiana.

The August 2014 Festival will consist of “Special Events” for Elvis Fans. Each Elvis fan group will have their own hostess to make sure they do not miss any events and that they have LOTS OF FUN!

We will also be competing for the Guinness Book of World Records with the most guitar players playing the same song “Love Me Tender” at the same time.
