Celebration of Jeffrey’s life

Jeffrey Scott Burton
8.28.62 – 4.6.19

We cannot begin to describe how much love has poured in for Jeffrey and our family over the past weeks
and we sincerely appreciate every single message, thought, donation and prayer.

You can imagine how hard it is to talk to individuals during this time of adjustment, but we WILL get back around to that in time.
You all mean so very much to us.

Jeff was excited to go be with his Lord and Savior and we are celebrating the fact that he is now in Heaven,
singing at the top of his voice and playing all the Heavenly notes on his guitar.

We would like to announce that there will be a ‘CELEBRATION OF LIFE‘ service for Jeff in June in Shreveport.
We will post more information (time, place) as it grows closer.

This will be a service open to the public, a true ‘CELEBRATION OF LIFE’ for this amazing man.

IF YOU HAPPEN TO HAVE ANY PICTURES OR VIDEO OF JEFF OVER THE YEARS, WE’D LOVE TO INCLUDE THEM IN THIS LOVING TRIBUTE.
Please send them to jamesburtonfest@aol.com

Kindest thanks!

Again, we thank you for your love and support.

May God bless and keep you all!

The James Burton Christmas Concert: Memories of Elvis

December 8th at Margaritaville Casino.

Dear Burton Supporters,
How about an early Christmas gift this year?

The James Burton International Guitar Festival presents,
“The James Burton Christmas Concert: Memories of Elvis.”
Margaritaville Casino – December 8th at 8:00 p.m.

This concert will not only feature your favorite guitar player, Mr. James Burton, but his friends Estelle Brown of the Sweet Inspirations and other very special guests. Johnny Earthquake is acting as Master of Ceremonies.

The show will feature Christmas music as well as some of the artists’ favorite songs and, of course, will feature a tribute to Elvis spotlighting James and Estelle.

We are also thrilled to be presenting donated guitars away again this year to veterans of our armed forces.

We ask that each of you help sell some tickets to the people in your circle of family, friends, business, Mardi Gras Krewes, whatever.
Tickets are reasonably priced at $30 each for general admission, and $100 each for VIP.

VIP’s tickets are given access to a very special experience at 6pm….a ‘pre-show’ interview and Q&A session with Elvis’ close friends, James Burton, Estelle Brown and Sam Thompson, Elvis’ bodyguard and Linda Thompson’s brother.
Come hear some personal stories regarding Elvis and have a chance to ask YOUR questions to the panel.

Naturally, we would ask that you encourage folks to get the VIP tickets but general admission will be great, too. Every little bit helps!

We need to sell the event out, which would be great for the Foundation. All artists are donating their time as a fundraiser for our foundation.
PLEASE ENCOURAGE YOUR PEOPLE TO BUY THE TICKETS THROUGH THE FOUNDATION OFFICE.
That will save us the Ticketmaster charges.

Be sure and get your tickets now!

On behalf of James and Louise Burton, The James Burton International Guitar Festival, The James Burton Foundation, and all of the artists, we sincerely thank you for helping us sell tickets and promote this event, all to benefit the James Burton Foundation.

Again, all it would take is a few minutes of your time to pick up the phone and call your friends, family, etc.

For tickets online go to Ticketmaster or preferably, phone the James Burton Foundation office at 318-424-5000.

THANKS FOR SHARING!
See you at the show!
